About Me

Early Life

Arshin Mehta was born in Mumbai and then moved to her ancestral home in Ahmednagar and later on to Pune. Her father Dr. Mehernosh Mehta is the Director of the Institute of Management Studies, which is a prominent Business School in the region. Her mother, Shiraz is very passionate about cooking and has done her Hotel Management course and was trained at the Hotel Taj, Mumbai. Her younger brother, Parvez is currently studying at the University of British Colombia.

Arshin finished her education from the Army School. In school, Arshin was always one of the bright students in class. In addition to studies, she loved and participated in Dancing, Drama, Swimming, Martial Arts and Basketball.

Arshin is a trained BharatNatyam dancer. She is also a devout student of Martial Art. / Arshin is trained in BharatNatyam and Martial Arts.

She pursued her degree in Commerce and was Magna Cum Laude / first in her College and also one of the toppers in the University of Pune. Though she always dreamt of being on the screen, her father advised her to have a good education first as it has always been an important aspect in the family. She enrolled herself for the Chartered Accountant course, one of the toughest professional examinations to crack in the country. Arshin is a qualified Chartered Accountant.

Career

Arshin started her career by participating in many beauty pageants which she won and steamrolled her way to become an established model. Since then, she has appeared in many commercials in Indian as well as International television.

Arshin started her career by participating in various beauty pageants which she won and this boosted her confidence to pursue her dream of modelling and acting.

In 2017, Arshin appeared in Imperial Blue Advertisement which made her quite popular.

Arshin has won many beauty pageants and then she started her career with various print shoots and fashion shows for many established brands like Femina

After this, she shifted to Mumbai where she enrolled herself for an acting course called the Stardust Acting Academy by NariHira.

Arshin auditioned for many projects and was selected for many television commercials. Her first break came through her brief character role as a journalist in the blockbuster, Bajrangi Bhaijaan. She then moved on to prominence by taking up assignments and doing television commercials for many known brands in India like Imperial Blue, McDonalds, Fair & Handsome, Maruti, Nyle, Parle G, Marya Day Tea, Axis Bank, Samsung, Snapdeal, India Gate Basmati, Avon, Ariel, Godrej and many others. She also did commercials for international brands like Brooke Bond Laojee Tea, JC Bank, Dabur International, etc.

In 2017, after a strong media presence Arshin starred as a lead actor in the romantic-action thriller, The Rally, directed by Deepak Anand who has given many hit movies in the past.

Personal Life

Arshin shares a close bond with her family and visits them regularly in her hometown at Ahmednagar. Although a lot of her family stays in Mumbai, she lives by herself in Andheri. She has always had a never give up attitude and she translates this perfectly by being a motivational figure for the youth to follow their dreams, passion and what they believe in, but also to remember to be a good human being.

Arshin has a fun side to her too. She’s an adventurous girl, who loves doing Sky Diving, Scuba Diving and other sports. She loves playing with animals and going on trips with her family & friends and living life to the fullest!
